You can glue them together and make a frame.

Oh my!!!! There are more things I can think of that I can't list them all. Think outside the box or, inside the wine bottle barrel lol. 1. split in 1/2 lengthwise and cover just about anything: wine bottles, jars, etc. for vases, pencil holders, etc. even flower pots and hot glue or gorilla glue them on.. Even the 6000 (?) product I've seen talked about. Take an old waste basket and cover it the same way and even paint the corks. Keep thinking and you'll come up with many, many more things. I just thought about wooden toys you could cut a circle off them and make wheels. Hope this helps.

I had an old wooden chair, used the corks on the seat, decorated the rest of the chair, using a wine bottle, wine glass, grape vines, lights, donated it to a hospital for their auction sale, and they received a lot of money for it.

I made a frame with a backer board (or you can buy one that is cork-width deep). I cut the corks in half length-wise on my scroll saw. Glued the 1/2 corks onto the backing. Made a nice cork decrative board for hanging notes.

Get an old picture frame, any size or many smaller ones and glue in corks to use as trivets.

Glue them together to make decorative letters to hang on the wall. You could do the first letter of your last name or write a word.
  • Boil first to clean. Cut into discs. Paint with whatever design you like. Add piece of wire to make wine glass markers. .

I like to use them as a drainage layer under dirt in pots. Lighter to move than stones, but allows water to pool away from plant roots.
