I want to make a headboard for my king size bed. I'm not real handy so would like something that is easy but yet looks professional.

If you are looking for ideas that are really easy and cheap, try buying foam core boards at the dollar store. Tape or glue them together in such a way that whole board overlaps the seams (two layers overlapping), cover with batting and/or foam and attach fabricating hot glue or fabric glue, wrapping the fabric onto the back and gluing only the backside. Easy to hang and move and change fabric when you want a change. I copied this idea and it works for a cal king bed. I used 7 foam core boards that cost $7 total.

I took a piece of plywood (had them cut it to size at the box store) Added foam on top and covered with ultra suede using a staple gun..easy!!!

If you have a Architectural Salvage Store near by that has old Doors maybe you can find one that is long enough ...depending on your Style you could leave as is or sand and stain it or sand and paint it... Adding some rich Antique Cupboard Door Pulls across the Top and down the sides... to dress it up... or any style that suits your decor... I am not a fan of Fabric.. I just think of it getting Dirty from my husbands hair... you can have someone help you hang it on the wall...

Hello. I would suggest finding a door you can paint or refinish. Turn long direction and mount to your wall. Very easy. Very affordable
