Moroccan Stencils Can Add Spice To A Breakfast Nook

1 Material
Why don't you brew some coffee and settle in as we share a stenciled breakfast nook. Our stencil designs can transform that space near your kitchen into a cozy spot to enjoy your morning routine. Wall stencils are an easy and affordable way to add pattern and mimic the look of pricey wallpaper. Come take a look at a breakfast nook that uses a beautiful stencil pattern...
We'd like to introduce a blogger that goes by the writing name, GEB, for The Third Floor Cellar. He moved into a newly constructed house and was working on transforming it into a home with one DIY project at a time. On that DIY to-do list was the breakfast nook. Within the gorgeous new kitchen filled with cherry wood cabinets and granite counter tops was a white nook destined to be a future breakfast dining space. Here is what the space looked like before it was given a dose of personality.
This plain white space was like a blank canvas. While wallpaper is often considered as solution for adding pattern to a space, it's expensive and a hassle to install. Stencil designs are an easy and affordable way to add pattern and depth to a space. GEB discovered our stencil patterns and instantly fell in love with the idea of painted wall designs. He browsed our large collection of wall patterns and selected our Zamira Allover Stencil, a popular Moroccan pattern. It's perfect for adding a small amount of pattern to walls or furniture.
With the stencil design in hand, GEB was ready to start his stenciling project! He painted the intricate Moroccan pattern in a soothing gray hue similar to Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter HC-172. He used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. We always recommend our stencil essentials kit because it contains all of the supplies needed to complete a project like this one. After each section was complete, GEB would un-tape the stencil and reposition it so he could paint the kitchen nook.
Once the stencil was complete, GEB added a rustic dining table, red hanging lampshade, and kitchen decor. Are you ready to see how this all turned out? Here is the newly stenciled breakfast nook.
We love how the contemporary wall pattern adds style and character to the cozy breakfast nook.
