This about 2' high plant comes up every summer right by my a/c unit, where I assume it is getting a good bit of moisture. It is quite pretty. Does anyone know what it is?

I had something like that in my yard recently. I took a slip to a nursery. Was told it was called Tree of Heaven. Essentially a weed. He said it would grow to be massive and was best to get rid of it.

Rhonda is right, it is a sensitive fern.

It looks like leather leaf fern to me. Grows wild here in the south.

Thanks for the input. Basically it's a wild fern then. One thing for sure, it will not get massive here. It dies out every winter and then puts back up in the summer.

Lucky for you it's NOT Tree on Heaven. Messy invasive and stinks to high Heaven when in bloom!!!!!!
