The Secret to Great Junk Garden Vignettes

I live in a residential cul de sac. No great barns, fences, or meadows. Just curb and gutter and houses. So I use great backdrops to create the rustic, country, junk garden look that I love.
Like old gates.
Old futon parts.
An old hay rake flower.
An old wheel.
An old barn door.
A tree house ladder.
Organized Clutter

Yup, we sound like gardening "twins" for sure. Of course he DRAGS HOME all kinds of literal JUNK and it just sits there until i get sick of it and complain for days on end then one day he will get up and dispose of them (only if i havent already come up with a use for them) Not much you can do with three ugly, broken a/c units sitting right beside my little shed. I tried removing the insides and using them as some sort of planter once but that was too much and too heavy for my 100 pound self to fool with. However, i threatened forever to have an OLD BROKEN and falling apart small trailer PARKED IN MY VEGIE GARDEN NO LESS, hauled off and thrown away....Then one day i just got mad and said the heck with it and went and got a truck load of garden soil and filled it up and PLANTED sweet potatoes IN IT!! They were up and pretty before the man even noticed i had repaired the wood and filled it...lol. Course after that summer he did have me post it on a local board for free and it was snatched up immediately by a church who fixed it and picks up old furniture and such for a womans shelter. Wish he had told me to do that to begin with but enjoyed my sweet taters that year too!
