Mid Century Modern Chalk Paint Desk Makeover

3 Materials
The blonde wood on this mid century piece was bland and outdated. A makeover using Annie Sloan duck egg blue chalk paint and some new hardware updated it into this century.
This was found on Craigslist and desk didn't require any prep work except cleaning and an easy leg repair before painting. I had to glue a leg back together that had split in half, so I used wood glue for that.
I took the drawers out and cleaned the entire desk well before applying the chalk paint.
Because this desk is going in my teenage daughters room, I wanted it to be girly.

I replaced the hardware with pretty glass knobs.
