A Dark Wood Dresser With a White Top
Some pieces just need a little paint to update them, and that was the case with this gorgeous antique dresser. The top veneer was ruined, so after it was removed, holes were filled and it was sanded smooth, the top was primed and painted in white. The rest of the dresser got a coat of dark stain to give the wood a richer look. The last part of updating it was painting some of the original pulls white, and adding new knobs to the top drawers. The contrast of the dark wood and crisp white gives this piece a modern look, but it still has its old character and charm!
