First of all, welcome to our cottage in the Desert. Well, actually it is a condo in the middle of the Las Vegas desert.
As we have lived in our Cottage Style Home for 6 years now, it has been a slow and creative process to get to this point.
This is our living room as you enter our home.
Opposite of our sofa, hangs our plate gallery wall. Again, more thrifted finds. And I didn’t pay more than a dollar for any of them. Not too shabby, right?
The next thrifted piece IS the 1970s stereo. Another amazing steal of a deal. By a steal of a deal, I mean $35, and it works perfectly!
Hanging above our living room window is a vintage style ladder from Decor Steals. The crystals are from thrifts shops and Habitat for Humanity. While the sun is setting, the crystals shine on the walls with prisms of light. The tiny fairy lights look pretty all year long.

This is just a small taste of our home filled with vintage and thrifted finds. To see more please visit my blog.

Do you fairy lights run on batteries? If so, it must be challenging to replace the batteries.
