Late July Stroll Through the Perennials

Our growing season in Minnesota is short. Our perennials are spectacular but for only a short time. The blossoms don't care if you have meetings to go to or doctor appointments. They are on their own schedule. Enjoy them while they are here for in a few short days they will be gone for another year.
Here are some great shots my wife took in our garden. I was cutting the grass and tending to other ongoing summer chores and had she not taken the time to photograph the flowers I may have missed them. So many of the perennials are subtle. They are over shadowed by the explosion of color by their neighboring plants. Sometimes we just don't notice them. That's what my wife is so good at. She sees the beauty in so many things that I might just overlook or pass by because for some reason I am "busy".
