Had these for years, think it's possible to begin braiding them now?

    I suspect most Dracaena marginata are braided at a significantly younger age than yours, Mary, but I suppose it depends on how supple the trunks are.

    Hi Douglas! Thanks for responding. Do you have a guess as to the age, or why the leaves' tips turn yellow/brown? I've been told it's because I've over fertilized it but I haven't fertilized it at all...

    Do you water with tap water containing fluoride? Over time, too much fluoride can build up in the soil and that can lead to leaf-tip issues.

    Hi Douglas! I had actually come across the fluoride tip in my research, but we live in the middle of nowhere and doubt that could be the problem. However; now that you mention it I will find out today...thanks for the direction.
