R.V.R. Farris on Aug 02, 2013Looks like "Hot Lips" salvia. I've got a bed full of it and it can have solid red blooms, solid white blooms and the combination red and white blooms. Hummingbirds and bees love it, although, it will take over the area if given half a chance.Helpful Reply

Jennifer Godwin on Aug 02, 2013I think that's it! Thanks @Donna Dixon ! http://aggie-horticulture.tamu.edu/ornamentals/nativeshrubs/salviagreg.htm. And I do trim it aggressively as it tends to get "woody". Thankfully it is in an area of my beds that is pretty controlled by stonework.Helpful Reply

Jennifer Godwin on Aug 02, 2013Hi Pat, I wish I could say it's homemade but I purchased it from an online store - and I'm not sure I remember which one. If I figured it out, I'll let you know. It was actually quite reasonable - I think about $29.95.Helpful Reply

Jennifer Godwin on Aug 02, 2013@Pat , I found it! It's from Plow & Hearth. I was a little off on the price - $32.95 not $29.95: http://www.plowhearth.com/productform.asp?q=mosaic&search_type=normalHelpful Reply

MARY ANN on Aug 05, 2013I like your seating area. We have a spot in the far corner of our yard. There are several palm trees that keep it pretty shady. It's lower than the rest of the yard and we have been filling it in to raise it up. I like the gravel you have. May try using that too.Helpful Reply
