Here's how to decorate the shelf in the laundry room.
First, measure your shelf...
I wanted to decorate my shelf without taking it out of the laundry room, so here's what I did.
First, place lumber on plastic to paint...
I used two coats of acrylic paint and then let it dry.
Next, cut out the stencil piece you want to use and dab it with paint,. I used gold paint.
Make sure to let it dry...
To hang the finished piece up, I used sticky back velcro on each end.
This was a quick and easy way to spruce up the laundry room shelf!
Here's the front view.

Hi Carol! I think you sneaked into my laundry room and made this project. Looks exactly like mine right down to the can of spray starch sitting on dryer. I wish you had left the finished project. Ok..on a serious note, I'm not understanding how you attached with the velcro. Can you explain a bit more?
