Bar Stool Makeover

When I got these bar stools, I initially thought of just keeping them as they were originally. But then of course looking at the completely black bar stool everyday was kinda driving me crazy and I just had to inject massive color into it.
The bar stool originally looked like this
I had this beautiful color from DecoArt in the Maxx Gloss finish line which I wanted to try on these bar stools.
The chairs needed about two coats of paint more like one and half since after the first coat I just had some spots left to be covered.Which if I had painted properly the first time around I would have not needed the second coat.
For the seat of the chair I had found this beautiful Aztec/Kilim Pattern from Spoonflower. I ordered it right away as soon as I saw it.
unscrewed the seats and literally under ten minutes I had reupholstered the chair. This kind of reupholstery I liked since the stapling will be done underneath so no need for it to be perfect as you won’t get to see it.

And that was basically it my “blah and bland” bar stools are completely transformed.
