Redi Shade

Help! I covered a Redi Shade with fabric but now the shade is too thick to use the clips that adjust the shade length. I already attached them to the window. What can I use so I can adjust them?

Maybe regular clothspins? You could always paint them first and put them on sideways instead of lengthwise.
