How to make a faux boulder?

My daughter wants a boulder for her front yard.Is there any way I can make a boulder for the front of my house that is weather proof & not heavy?

I made boulders out of wire mesh, covered with fiberglass matting, resin and hardener. Auto parts stores carry fiberglass kits.

actually you can buy a fake rock just google it. or what about building  a rock with smaller rocks. put together.

Get a beach ball the size you want. Get burlap and chicken wire and wrap around the ball in the shape you want, burlap side in. Cover with thin layer of cement, which can be colored in the mix to the shade/ texture you want. You could also use shaped sytrofoam blocks as the inner base instead of the ball. You can shape the styrofoam smoothly with a hot knife or wire
