A new segment in the series: WHY DIDN'T I DO THIS SOONER!?!?!
Ok, so this is what the top of my fridge has been looking like for... oh, well, ever since I remodelled in 2007... And it has been a HUGE annoyance, both because of the clutter and untidyness(if that is even a word... it SHOULD be a word, it is EVERYWHERE in my house either way...) So, not only is it cluttered, but everyone just keep stacking stuff on top of the other, and weekly avalanches occur... Litterally... I don't know how many toes have gone blue, and how many new swear words this phenomenom has created, but we just keep doing the same mistakes every day with it!!!
So, while cleaning out(or at least trying a 5-minute-room-rescue) in my scrap-room, I found a big old black basket, and I'll tell you: It was like in those cartoons when you see the light bulb go off on top of their head!!! So cutting my 5 minute room rescue short by 4 minutes, I dug out the basket and ran to my kitchen...
I organized the stuff in it, decluttered the things that are rarely used(that means they will become clutter on my kitchen floor instead of on top of the fridge because noone ever bothers taking them to the basement... Note to self: I need to become rich so I can afford a butler...)
Happy with the result, and the fact that most of the stuff can be reached and put back easily, I put the magic box in its place:
Ooooooh, I am sooooo going to keep looking at this for the rest of the day.... (Just because the rest of my kitchen is dirty and cluttered, doesn't mean I can't make believe I have a blog'alishious kitchen!!! Did I just make up another word?!? Oh well, I'm happy, that's all that counts!!!)
