I hate throwing things out, so I always try to see if there is any way they can be repurposed or upcycled first...
So I was about to give this blender to the thrift store, and as I was putting it in the donation box, I stopped to think: What on earth would anybody want an old blender with no power for?!? And I started walking to the trash can instead, but then it hit me: I can use it for a flower pot in the kitchen!!! So, with my silver chrome spray paint(those of you who have read my earlier posts know I LOOOOOVE that spray...) I sprayed it, and planted some seeds in it and put it in the window sill in my kitchen, and wouldn't you know: I actually got them to grow!!! I never manage to keep regular plants alive, only a succulent or two have survived my dry'n drown watering routine... maybe it's a magic blender... Looks kinda magic to me!!!! (And please: Don't ask what seeds they were... I had them in abox from years ago... maybe I found some of Jack's beans?!)
Suggested materials:
  • Old blender
  • Silver chrome spray paint
