Wedding gown repurposing ideas needed
What can be done to a vintage (late 1940's) satin wedding gown, never cleaned but in good shape. Has a small train & dozens of satin covered buttons down back & small amount of soiled lace. I would like to create remembrance items.

can reuse the fabric to make confirmation dress for little girl, or a princess dress with colorful bows and ribbons and beads..even baptism dress for baby. Or how about this- make a wedding dress for a doll and keep it in a glass case forever. the hardest part of sewing is affording great fabric. you have a gold mine there..
It would make a lovely ring bearer pillow and other wedding items for children or grandchildren's wedding. Lace could be used for other items. I love Judy's idea too, would make a lovely christening gown for babies.
