On vacation in Cabo San Lucas Mexico, I saw this plant and just loved it.

Desert roses sap is poisonous and should never come into contact with children or pets. It is suggested that if you get sap on yourself while handling the plant, wash your hands immediately. The entire desert rose is toxic if ingested by your dog, even the sap it produces.
