How to Clean the Microwave {Three Easy Ways}

Easily clean your microwave with these three easy green cleaners.
Water and Vinegar
Water and Lemon Juice
Plain Water followed up with a Magic Eraser
Mix up your preferred green cleaner, then zap it in the microwave for 5 minutes. Let the mixture sit for an additional 5-10 Minutes. The mixture will still be hot so don't burn yourself but you can use it to wipe down the microwave.

    I use three simple things to clean my microwave: a bowl, water and a rag. I find it is not necessary to add anything to the water. The steam from the boiling water, alone, is enough to loosen any food splatters or spills. After the water boils, I let it sit for a little bit and then wipe all the surfaces with a wet rag. Can't get much easier or greener than that. :)

      @Jeffery Rowan I actually used vinegar on a rag in my car that had a bad odor we could not get out from shrimp that defrosted and the vinegar worked awesome. Going to try this in my microwave awesome hint.

    I just spray the inside with water, close the door and forget about if for a while. Later, it just wipes clean!

    I have been doing this as long as there has been microwaves. I boiled water for a recipe and forgot about it being in there, it boiled over and made a big water mess.. when soaking up the water with a sponge I realized I was cleaning it better and easier then any other way.. so I just kept doing it that way. I told all my friends and family.. this was like 25 years ago.
