    what did you do the prime the furniture before painting?

      Hi Patti! I don't use primers. For this set, I did twork coats of Zinssers Clear Shellac prior to painting. All mahogany bleeds, but this set was really bad w that when I tested for bleed through but she shellac did the trick. Two brushed on coats in oposite directions.

    it's very pretty, but i myself can't imagine painting over mahogany!!!
