What is this flower/shrub

I saw these white flowers about a month ago and the individual I was with when I saw them knows a lot about flowers, trees and plants but did not know what they were. When I was in the same area yesterday, I saw that the flowers had grown into shrubs and I wonder if anyone can tell me what it is?

    It looks like a variety of Angelonia, commonly known as summer snapdragon

  • Yes, I think it is an angelonia but have not seen this plant as a bush in Texas, that is! However, it is very prolific and drought tolerant. It is identified as an annual; however, several in my yard are three years old.

    Yes, that does look like Angelonia. It often overwinters in Florida as well.

    Yes,Angelonia! Love them! Have three colours in my garden.Pink,purple and white.
