What is this flower/shrub

I saw these white flowers about a month ago and the individual I was with when I saw them knows a lot about flowers, trees and plants but did not know what they were. When I was in the same area yesterday, I saw that the flowers had grown into shrubs and I wonder if anyone can tell me what it is?

It looks like a variety of Angelonia, commonly known as summer snapdragon

Yes, I think it is an angelonia but have not seen this plant as a bush in Texas, that is! However, it is very prolific and drought tolerant. It is identified as an annual; however, several in my yard are three years old.

Yes, that does look like Angelonia. It often overwinters in Florida as well.
