Gorgeous Late Blooming Daylilies
For many gardeners their big daylily bloom push is almost over. If you planted some late blooming daylily cultivars then you will still be enjoying a riot of colour from these amazing perennials. If not, then there is always next season. A walk around our daylily farm to see what daylilies are still in full bloom will show you what I mean.

Daylily 'El Desperado' with it's stunning purple eye.
Daylily 'Jersey Spider' will bloom here right into September.
Daylily'Joyous Wonder' is a gorgeous daylily hybridized in Ontario.
Daylily 'Joan Senior' has been around for quite a while but blooms for a very long period of time.
Daylily 'Mohican Chief' really knocks your socks off.
Daylily 'Judge Roy Bean' is a very late blooming spider variety.

I just love the Daylilies blossom as they are continuously blossomingthroughout the season! Most varieties first bloom in Late Spring/Early Summer,then will keep blooming through the summer and even into first frost.

Yes Douglas, you are right about that. There are no daylilies that continually bloom. You need a mix. Some do rebloom quite well later in the season. Works well in the south but us northern gardeners usually run out of time for this to happen well.
