    I put a gazing ball on a birdbath base that the top was broken.

    Depending on your base--- I use old light fixture I find at Good will or bowls. My base is a lamp stand.

    I used construction adhesive and glued a sun dial to an old bird bath base. You could pick up a 12 or 14 inch pot saucer, paint it, and attach that to get a new birdbath. Or use a smaller pot saucer to hold a gazing ball..
