Old grape vine wreaths can be repurposed into all sorts of creative projects like this giant, garden art bird nest.

After 24 hours of soaking in water, dismantle the wreath http://www.empressofdirt.net/gardenartbirdnest/

Start winding the grape vine in circles, starting with the bottom center of the nest. Clamps hold things in place until wires are added. http://www.empressofdirt.net/gardenartbirdnest/

    you can add ribbon, twine' yarn or string so the birds can steal for their own real nest

      @Barbara Coppola I used to share this idea but some people have reported that birds get entangled in longer pieces. Cornell Lab of Ornithology advises to use pieces shorter than 6" - if any are used at all.
