Four Home Uses for Kitty Litter

If you have a cat, kitty litter is of primo-importance to avoid stink – but this great product isn’t just for the feline inclined! You can use kitty litter around the house to de-stink, freshen and clean, even if cats aren’t your thing. Here’s how: http://bit.ly/14p3mva
Stop Basement Stink. Having a basement can definitely be a plus – extra living space and room to store your skis is awesome. But, this additional area can come at a price. A stinky price.

Remove Oil Spots. Here are two facts of life: cars drive on driveways, and cars leave behind oil stains. But these facts don’t have to leave you with a dirty driveway. To clean up oil (or grease spots), all you need is cat litter.

Prevent Trash Can Mildew. A smelly trash can is bad news, but a smelly, wet trash elevates things to a new level of stink. Not only is a wet trash bag gross to change, mold and mildew can grow as a result.

Dry Flowers Fast. Flowers are beautiful, but they tend to wilt pretty quickly, and then you have to toss them. Or do you? Immortalize those blossoms on the double by drying them with kitty litter.

Please note: Some of these ideas are great, but, think you need to use the old fashioned kind, not the clumping.
