Are these the same plants in the other pics you posted with the butterfly? Are these a small tree/shrub?
That's a type of Clerodendrum. I can't tell you exactly which one.
@Douglas Hunt Can you download my last garden picture Doug?f you can, do that, look opposite the butterfly in the walkway" Look, closely'
No, close, But I have them on the other side. The man who gave them to me passed away"Bless him. They do look a bit like that. Thank You"
I also asked in Lee's butterfly post what his red flower/plant was. Lovely!
Oh, Yea, you just helped me clear the brain fart? Spenden? Think that what he told me they were. Thanks Doug~~ Keep you posted on the EARTH~~~
Ah, I found it, bummer, it doesn't grow as a perennial in my area! Enjoy it! Clerodendrum splendens - Red Glory Bower.
@Peg Yes, That's right"' Thanks Peg. Look at my last post? Interesting one indeed" Get back to me"
The leaf looks like the Mexican Hydrangea (Clerodendrum bungei) that has taken over my yard. My flower, however, is pink. When cut or broken they smell horrid. IF they spread like my variety, I hope you like them. :-) I've tried for years to keep them under control without much success. All I can do is pull them out. Because it's not an unattractive plant, I did plant one in a pot for the deck.
Clerodendrum. Lady came by today. Doug was right~ Thanks All~~
