What is crap merdle and how do yu care for it it stay short

I want to get some crape merdle but am not sure how to treat it?

I am no expert, but it's spelled crapemyrtle. The National Arboretum has some good information on selecting a variety: http://www.usna.usda.gov/Gardens/faqs/crapemyrtlefaq2.html

S137 has pointed you in a good direction. If you want a crepe myrtle that stays small, make sure you pick one of the shrub-sized cultivars. If you get one of the big ones, both you and the crape myrtle will constantly be frustrated.
