Renting a unit that is single glazed windows, lets in draughts and moisture. I have moisture collection bins in all rooms and in the linen cupboard. Any ideas on a cheap way to stop the cold, preferably one that can be removed if we move again. Love this site and all the ideas

Maybe put some insulation on your windows.Heavy lined drapes with bubble wrap on the windows should help keep the draft under control.

Buy SEAL-RITE Window Insulation Kit (or other brand). It is absolutely the answer to your problem. About $6 for 4 sheets of 42"x62". You can't even tell it is on your windows.

I agree with Helen, shrink to fit plastic window kits are great. We have used them a lot in the past. You can see through them as if they weren't there, they are inexpensive and worth getting. We had wood panes and they sure kept out the cold.

OH also because of how things are labeled in different countries you may want to bring a printout of the item to your local building supply/hardware store they may carry something very similar, good luck :)
