Repurposing glass lampshades

Question

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do with these? I would like to create something pretty and cool but not hard to do!

I would use some E6000 glue and set the larger on top of the smaller. Once dried, use as a real or faux fruit bowl. You can also put in some cut lavender dried, some faux flowers, yarn balls or anything to accent a table or even the front porch!!

I have a few shades like that . I've inverted a couple of them over Tap lights that sit on a mirror small enough to fit under it...or large enough to make a border around the shade . I did one of each . Makes for great mood lighting , and with a drop of your favorite oil on the Tap light , you get subtle aroma . I really like how my stained glass shades look and enjoy being able to display them .

They look like they're from the 90's.  I'm thinking garden art.  Plant some flowers in them and incorporate them in your flower beds.  Or put a candle in the small one.

I would use a small chain to hang them in the garden.  The larger one, upside down (as pictured) would make a fun bird feeder (or plug the hole and use as a bird bath). The smaller could easily be fitted with a small solar stake light and hung as a lantern.

For the larger piece I would make a lovely bird bath, possibly a terracotta base.  The sunlight will show through and emphasize the beautiful colors.

You could make vase to hold flowers. It would not be hard to seal up the holes which you would first need to run wires etc.  it could also be used as a center piece. Perhaps flowers in the middle and different things in the bowl. Say you could put seeds for a garden party. Decorate for a party and put little snacks around the center.  Remember if yo as to be sitting this on good furniture put some pad the hotter of the bowl as to not scar the tables.

I would flip the large piece and attach to a wood or vase for a base.  It will look like a colorful mushroom and the put the smaller one under on the ground or with a smaller base and set it beside the other.

Large 1: Line with garden stones or glass stones for stability and add battery operated pillar & tiny candles. Small 1: same thing, but add a tiny battery operated candle.

Gluing the smaller one to the larger, i'd make a wall sconce.  Making certain to use a strong glue and adding a hanger to the back.  I would use flameless candle for the lighting.

The small one seems ideal for a candle...making sure to put a insert on the 'holder' to ensure drippings don't go through.

The larger one looks beautiful right side up, like pedals, so head to a thrift and/or chain store to find a 'desk light' the shade fits upon to brighten up a corner!

Place something to cover the hole in the larger one and use as a candy dish (wrapped candy) or place decorative balls in it.  The small one use with battery powered votive.

Glue the right one on top of the left one with E6000 glue & use it as a bird bath or bird feeder for the porch.  You could also use it as a chip bowl, fruit bowl or snack bag holder. I would use them as they were intended, as lights.  The colors will GLOW with a light i them.  You can use a recycled lamp or go to Lowes, they will sell you a light kit where all you have to do is know how to screw and unscrew.

The small one could be turned over with a tea light (in a container) inside. The larger one could hold real or faux fruit, etc.  If needed, a small plate could rest in the bottom to catch drips.

You could turn it into a bowl.   You can hot glue a piece of plastic cap to the inside bottom of the small one to cover the hole.  Then hot glue the bottom of the small one to the bottom of the large.
