Oh yes! another cabinet door re-do. This cabinet door is 21" x 13 1/2" that I painted using acrylic paints and sprayed with a light varnish. I added handles to use as a serving tray but I liked it so much I hung it on the wall.
2 coats of spice brown acrylic paint on the outside frame. Add a touch of red to that brown paint and add 2 coats to the mat area of the door. Add 2 coats of black for the back ground and paint a few pears and the word "Pears".
You can create a stain by mixing equal parts paint + glaze + add water (like soup), stir and apply this stain to the outside of the cabinet door frame using a damp rag, then wipe off a little of the stain using a clean damp rag.
Spray with a good varnish or acrylic spray the next day to seal the project and add handles. If used as wall art add two picture hangers on back.
Apple Tray by GranArt, this is another cabinet door that I painted, added some metal hangers as handles and turned it into a serving tray.
