I was so fortunate to find this Stanley faux bamboo chest of drawers on Craigslist. I just knew it would make a darling armoire for a little girl. Here's how I transformed it...
I found this beautiful paper and just knew it was the perfect pop this piece needed!
I painted the tallboy in Sherwin Williams color Koral Kicks mixed at 150%. BUT I used Fine Paints of Europe Hollandlac Brilliant paint. It gave me the glossiest finish a person can ask for:)
After painting, I used ModPodge to glue the paper into the left side of the tallboy
Lastly, I installed a lucite rod for hanging clothes. And here's the finished product...
I hope you enjoyed this little makeover as much as I do! I have many more projects on my blog at www.paintedbykaylapayne.com Hope you'll stop by!
