Where do you find diatomaceous earth?

I would like to find this. It's suposed to kill fleas and it's nontoxic.

    Amazon sells food grade diatomaceous earth for about $10/lb. you can get it from pool suppliers but that is not the stuff you want. Definitely only get food grade. the filter grade stuuf can be very harmful if inhaled even in small amounts.

    I used to buy it at garden centres. It is great for killing slugs and snails. If you sprinkle some around your plants the slugs will not cross over it as it contains bits of crushed glass.

    Health food stores offer the food grade version.

    I buy it on Amazon. You can get a10 lb bag food grade for less than $20.

    be sure to get food grade if there are pets around.. we have it around the outside of the house and it has done great w/roaches, ants, and other bugs.
