Primed crown molding oak, painted two coats of antique white. Painted walls with antique beige. Changed light fixture (from Lowe's). Easy Piezy.

    Thanks Darcy...I asked the same question....got it at Lowe's..... but I didn't fuss about it too much since we were in the "selling mode."

    you could paint the inside of the door way between 2 rooms too.. with trim color.. and the switch plate and receptacles for Wall plugs with wall color.
