Stucco over wood

We had our wood frame house stuccoed a few years back. They went right over the t 1-11 siding which was in excellent shape. Our entire back of the house has cracked all along the bottom and on side of the house I noticed while weed wacking that grass is growing up btwn siding and stucco and in one small spot I can reach under the lip and feel the siding crumbling :( not sure what to do... Paid these people 4,000$ to do this seems we shouldn't have these issues :( thanks in advance

@Sara I am not quite clear what you are depicting in the photo. It sounds like you are talking about an outside area, but the pic seems to be indoors. Could you clarify or post a pic of where the grass is growing between the stucco and the siding.
