Leaving the Landfills Wanting...

Look at this poor neglected baby, screaming for help :)
I started by having my Husband take off the backing, which smelled really bad. Don't ask like what, you don't want to know, and the doors at the bottom. Only two of them opened so that was dumb. He's such a good man, i'm truly blessed!
Then I started by cleaning her up. I used a mixture of clorox and warm water first. She was sooo dirty. Then I wiped her down once more with alcohol. Once she was dry I started painting her with Home Depot chalk paint.
We added barn wood to the back, which not only made her look better but also made her much sturdier then the smelly presswood backing she was built with.
I had two handles left over from another project so I slapped those babies right on the drawers :) And alls that was left was to dress her for her big debut!
What I love the most about this piece is that I get to change her style with each new season and holiday! So, what do you all think? Yay or Nay?
