Designer Metallic Epoxy Basement Floor

Seattle Surfaces

We were hired to install 1400 sq. ft. of designer metallic epoxy for the flooring in this basement that the client was in the process of finishing. Due to a previous moisture issue we installed and epoxy moisture remediation system after grinding the surface, and before the metallic coat. The contractor had all of the new walls framed and the drywall installed to limit the amount of construction that would be done on the new floor. Since the new baseboards were not installed, pouring the new floor was much easier. Our final step was to install a high performance gloss urethane top coat.
Designer Metallic Epoxy Basement
We diamond ground the entire floor to create the proper profile for our epoxy to bond to.
The metallic coat was applied over the moisture remediation system.
And finally, we added a high performance gloss urethane.

I love this I would love it in the upper level as well. I have no basement just crawl space. It's so expensive and modern. Lucky you and hope water problem was solved.
