Custom Place Cards/Tags

Barn Tree Place
by Barn Tree Place
Great idea for any outdoor and open seating event!
We created a simple and budget friendly DIY for those hosting an outdoor event. For under $10 we made 100 custom place cards that won't blow away and your guests can take them home too as a party favor!
Your guests will find their name on your display piece, grab their tag and save their seat.
Materials:

Cardstock

Metal Washers

Cotton Cord

Wood Die-Cuts

Hole Punch

Krazy Glue

Scissors or Paper Cutter
We cut our cardstock into 2x3inch rectangles. Punched a hole at the top center. Then, we cut our cotton cord to the length that we needed for hanging our cards/tags. Added a metal washer to the cord, then thread through the top center hole.
We found these darling little bird wood die-cuts that went with our theme. The craft store had many wood die-cuts to pick from that you may find to match your theme.

Just use Krazy glue to adhere the die-cuts.
I had a friend with better handwriting than I, write all the names of our guests on the cards.
Do you recognize our display? Since we were on a very tight budget, we tried to take advantage of items we already had around the house. This is a side railing from an antique crib set I found at an estate sale. We previously posted a idea on "Repurposed Baby Crib". I had my husband add a leg to the back side so we could have it standing up like an easel.

Worked perfectly for our "open seating" themed event and the guest loved them.
