Ok so I stinkin' love wallpaper. I know I know... kinda old school, but it is coming back in style for sure! Problem is now it's SUPER expensive. With that being said there are several options to get a "wallpaper" look on the cheap. For this specific look I did a stencil style treatment with a cut out piece of paper and some paint to achieve a faux Tanzania print.

SUPPLIES:
-Piece of heavy card stock or plastic
-Scotch Tape / Painter's Tape
-Marker
-Black Paint (I know this is a tube of chalkboard paint, but it does not need to be. I just found this for $1 and had it on hand so I decided to use it)
-Paint brush (you will want a sponge one as well as a small bristle brush)
-Exacto Knife

STEP 1: Trace out a nice Tanzanian print on a piece of heavy card stock. The great thing about this print is that it doesn't have to be perfect and can sort of be a sporadic variety of spots.

STEP 2: Cut out the spots you traced on the card stock with your exacto knife.
STEP 3: Tape your stencil cut out to the wall where you are wanting your print.

STEP 4: Paint in the free space of your stencil until all spaces are full.

STEP 5: Move your stencil over and re-tape it to the wall and repeat step 4.

STEP 6: When you remove your stencil from the wall fill in any gaps or open space with spots painted free hand.

Ok so I did this in a closet because I was so indecisive as to where to put it, but I just love it and can't wait to spread the love and do it on a main wall.

I just love the way the gold pops with this print. I also love the way floral prints look with it.

Ok so serious truth here my closet does NOT look like this on the regular. I haven't put what belongs in this closet back in place. I love seeing this when I open the door though so I am going to have to reorganize so that I can enjoy it a bit more.
