Stopping my rug from curling

I have rugs on my carpet in the living entrance so people won't track dirt on the carpet. I have tried everything there is to make it stop moving & curling at each edge.
Could you suggest anything? You have so many good things to help. I am at my wits end. Can't glue it because it couldn't get shampoo.
Please help me.

Cut out some heavy cardboard to fit under the curling corners and attach them to the rugs with double stick carpet tape.

I've found adhesive corners at Menards. They adhere to the rug to keep the corners flat.

That sounds like a good idea. How heavy should the card board be. I think I might just look around lowes & see what they have too. Thank you Betty

Heavy enough to hold the curled corners down. You can also try paint sticks.

Just get some clear silicone caulking and place circles on the rug about the size of a quarter on the underside of the rug. This will grip the surface.

I had heard of that. So I had a little thrown rug & got a tube. I went all the way around . just put it all over let it dry. The stuff now is coming off. but it worked for a while. My little dog grabs it if she sees it sticking out, I think she might be helping it come off. But that is a good ideal.
