Green & Blue Tablescape

We have guests/semi-formal meals fairly regularly, and my mother just sent me a lovely green-striped linen tablecloth, so I want to do a bit better than the synthetic white tablecloth and plastic containers we had been using. (My husband is a great cook but Does Not Care about the aesthetics, so that's my job.)
I got a clear plastic tablecloth to go over the linen one, because with three children under six it isn't going to stay stain free any other way! I am unsure about my choice of a sparkly one as I think it can look grubby from the wrong angles, but that's cheap to replace.
The blue fake flowers are new, as are the chargers/placemats, to fit the colours of my main art piece in this room. The pink ones really don't fit the colour scheme, but my eldest made them in kindergarten so they had to be there.
This is a tapestry I chose that my father bought me several years ago. It incorporates my favourite colours and yarn crafts. We're in a rented apartment so we can't go too wild with the walls (which desperately need painting) but I think white walls work with statement pieces.
