My Mobile Home Kitchen Makeover.

After living with this dark kitchen for 7 years I had enough. I wanted bright and cheery👍🏻
Took all the handles off. They were in the middle of the doors. Filled all the holes. Then I used a deglosser instead of sanding ( had a lung tumor no dust). Two coats of good blocking primer on both sides. Then I used paintable wallpaper that looked like wainscot. Cut it to size using my fabric cutting mat and rotary cutter. Then I gave them two coats of good paint. Called milk white. Love it.
Added all new hardware that I bought for a really good price on Amazon!
Removed railing on top of cabinets. Dust collectors. Cleaned top of cabinets and lined with wax paper for easy cleaning. Then deglosser.
Took off hardware and filled holes with lightweight spackeling.
Took cabinet doors off. Primed and placed the wallpaper on.
Finished priming and painting cabinets.
These are the paint and primer I used.
One section done with hardware replaced. Excuse my messy counters. I was focused on the job at hand 👍🏻
Work being done on last section.
Upper cabinet interior. Walls painted.
Personal touches.
A few of my personal touches. Made the vintage kitchen tool display. The hanging lamp $5 thrift store) was sprayed to match the hardware
Suggested materials:
  • Paint, stain blocking primer, lightweight spackeling. Paintable wallpaper. Burnished bronze spray pa   (Menards.)
  • My rotary cutter and mat.   (JoAnne fabrics.)
