DIY Faux Concrete and Moss Bust Jewelry Holder

Upcycle perfume bottles and other thrifted figurines into beautiful faux concrete and moss jewelry holders! Can even use the figurines for tablescapes, mantel decor, and for stylish accents on bookshelves.
This little bust sculpture is actually a thrifted perfume bottle! I instantly wanted this little treasure as soon as I saw it. I had no idea what to do with it until I came across a new type of paint from FolkArt.
I started by fusing the perfume bottle together with permanent adhesive. You can easily use any other figurine for this project and get the same amazing results below! Click the link at the end to see how you can get your hands on these paints.
Give your figurine a coat of light concrete color paint and allow to dry. Then add the darker shade of the moss color and use the lighter shade of moss to add highlights and dimension to your figurine.
Allow it all to dry before placing your jewelry onto your brand new made over faux concrete and moss figurine. I think mine looks particularly french inspired! These would look fabulous on a table setting for fall or spring.
