Cleaning grease on bluestone

As a result of all the summer barbecues, we have many grease stains all over our patio. I have tried numerous cleaners to no avail. Can anyone suggest a cleaner that will remove the grease stains? THANK YOU.

Put dry cement mix on it, let sit for about 1 hour then use a stiff brush to brush it. Also try battery acid on it.

I would go to Home Depot or Lowes and get one of the Citrus Degreasers and use if full strength. Let is sit for a while then scrub and rinse. Good luck.

You can try applying a paste made from baking soda and water, scrubbing it into the stain, letting it dry in place, then washing it off. Some people have success pouring cola and/or scrubbing with dishwashing detergent. A good scrubbing with a grease cutting cleaner like Simple Green or that orange stuff should take care of it. Try a bit of peroxide mixed w/ the baking soda - scrub it in & let it sit for a bit. May have to repeat.***** Scrub the oil stain with a soft scrub brush and the ammonia solution. Rinse the spot well with water, and allow it to dry.***** Pour mineral spirits or acetone onto the spot, if the oil stain is still there. Let the mineral spirits or acetone sit for a minute, then scrub the spot with a clean, soft scrub brush. Rinse the stone well with water.

Try some kitty litter to absorb the oil then try the removers. The kitty litter will absorb the surface oil we have used it to clean up turkey fryer spills.
