2 Easy Home Fixes Using Vaseline

We have two quick fixes to common home issues using vaseline. The first is a squeaky door hinge and the other is stuck entry door.
From each squeaky door, I remove the hinge pins one at a time and coat them lightly with vaseline and re-install them. The squeaks disappear.
On entry doors that stick closed, I apply a thin film of vaseline to the surface of the weather stripping. Stuck no more.
