    So glad to hear that, Ruth. While I used to live in Tarrant Co. and had wonderful sandly loam, slightly acidic soil, I now live in Frisco with alkaline, black gumbo soil. Most of my favorite plants I brought here with me have long since died even though I have worked hard at enriching the soil. What type of soil do you have in FW? I love clematis and my other one just is not doing at all well here, but if there is any chance this type would thrive here, I will buy some seeds. TIA
