Repurposing old wooden highchairs

I have my highchair and my husband still has his, so I wonder if there is anything fun and simple on how to display them. They are painted wooden ones.

You could use them to display plants either inside or outside.

My antiquer mother simply cleaned and polished the old wooden high chair that had served so many family babies, and placed an antique doll in it, near the dining room table. It was too nostalgic and lovely to paint.

Thanks, the chairs are painted. Should I repaint or leave as is?

Would a set of twins be the answer?

I had the same problem----youngest grandchild outgrew the need for a high chair. So, I sawed about 2 inches off the legs, took off the tray and hardware, and shortened the arms as much as possible. After painting a blue-black, adding a carved decorative medalion on the back, and glazing with mahogony wood stain, it is the prettiest youth chair I've ever seen!

Would it be possible for you to send me a photo of your new chair as I liked your idea.
