Blue Pumpkins

You learn something every day and today I learned that you can grow BLUE PUMPKINS. No kidding. And, you can even eat them! It's also known as "jarrahdale" and is available at many farms or you can purchase seeds. Blue pumpkins tend to have more ridges but will grow just the same as their orange buddies. This will be on my "To Do List" for next year for sure...

These are very popular here in Australia and I remember buying a type called Queensland Blue when I lived in Brisbane all the time, very nice.
