Find someone who paints pictures and offer them some. I use these types of containers to mix paint.

Because they are longer than normal, how about things that won't fit for square tubs. I am thinking crayons, q-tip (Thanks Jennifer Purdy), emery boards and toenail clippers, small scissors, kitchen gadgets that clutter up the drawers, and yes all manner of hardware and craft supplies. As for food, you could pack lots of snacks for trips, leftovers when you mark them with tape and marker, and water frozen for coolers. Nothing melts that isn't in it's own container so there is no mess!

I'm not sure of the size of these containers, but why not spray paint them and use them as flower pots in your garden. Best of luck.

I remove the label and the put them on the top rack in the dishwasher to clean them . I decorate the top and then fill them with items to include in my Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
